  1. I made this play based on this player being extremely loose and I was certain he was on a draw. But then at the end he calls. Was this a bad play by me?

  2. Obviously this guy is pretty loose, or crazy, or both. But in the end, I think your play wasn't all that solid.

    1. Your pre-flop raise is perfectly reasonable.

    2. Your raise after the flop is also reasonable, given that he's a loose player, you may be able to shove him off.

3.The turn is where you started to go wrong. The 10 didn't help you and he's already shown that he has no problem withcheck-calling.You shouldn't have tried to take the pot here, his call won't give you any new information and your hand hasn't improved. Just take the free card.

    4. Again, the river doesn't help you and possibly makes his hand a complete lock. The only hand you have any chance of beating is a complete bluff (which isn't totally impossible, given how loose he is). He's shown the whole way that he will not be shoved off this hand,so betting here is out of the question.

Tough hand for you, for sure. But you could have minimized the damage.
  3. First of all, I have to say that it is almost never worth trying to bluff loose crazy players, there is just no profit in it. Wait until you have a hand, and let him pay you off.

Second point is if you put him on a draw, what hand did you put him on. If he had the 89, it got there on the turn.

Third point is, if you put him on nothing but a busted draw then you should not have tried to bluff on the river, instead you would have been value betting Ace high.
  4. rev.k says it all i argree 100 percent with him
