yea I think you're supposed to shove preflop or fold there's no flat calling that action with AK
-
after i made it 2400 and other guy pushes i could only flat call the 590, i couldnt push there if thats what your saying or are you saying push instead of raising 2400?
-
Let's look:
Preflop
Antes= 8 x 25= 200
BB=200
All in #1=615
All in #2=2990
you are in for 2990
gek is in for 2990
That's 9985 in the pot and he bets 600 making it 10,485 and you fold?
Are you crazy? You are getting over 17-1 on the call and I'd probably just shove there, what's in the pot dictates that play, you are beyond committed to that pot. If you lose so be it. Do you want a chance to win or MAYBE a chance to come in 4th? Think about it. -
You gotta shove on that flop regardless of what your opponent does. He obviously has a pocket pair or Ak by the way he has played the hand thus far, and that bet looks really weak. Its a bet saying "get out of here my hand cant stand any pressure. If he has a jack in this spot so be it. The pot is too big and your remaining stack too small to worry about such things. That said the player with the tens played this really horrible.

Thanks for the advice, I went into the timebank and really thought I was beat because he bet and he bet so little, like he was begging me to push, might have overthought it, but thanks for the advice guys and gl
