    Maybe its been brought up. What do you think of tag-team wsop event? 5k or 10k, your choice of partner. players switch up play every hour with same chips. award two bracelets, split prize money. So whos your top 5 (two-man teams/or lady).

    Mine:

    1) Rizen/Bax
    2) Pearljammer/Waco Kidd
    3) Imper1um/Pokerpro33
    4) Hellmuth/Ivey

    5)spegal/howie mandell? lol, j/k

    ps. you dirty minded players keep your mind out of the gutter on the tag team. lol

    I believe that they had an event like this back in the 70's that Doyle won.

    Well they should mix it up more then so each player has to play each player on the opposing teams...they could mix up the time interval when they switch so that could happen...

    This type of event is played quite often in Australia as lead up events to a main event like the Aussie Millions, Victorian championships or Melbourne championships(I can't remember which one specifically). It usually draws quite a good crowd, each player plays a round each. The pressure is on for you to preform well and not let down your partner, which makes for good poker mostly.

    The Aussie Millions in January 2008 has this event.

    Fri 18 Jan 12.45pm 15 No Limit Holdem Teams Event $2,200 (2,000+200) (=approx $1,600+160USD)

    It's been done before. One of Mr. Brunson's bracelets is for a Mixed Doubles event. It was pointed out that that should actually give him 9 1/2 bracelets 2 years ago on pokerpages. Not sure I agree with that. Although the people who claim Anna K never won a major tournament, when she has Grand Slam victories as a doubles player probably would.

    As an expert in team events (won the aussie million one with the omaholic pobv) I like the idea, if you have a decent player to play with.
