    played horrible?
  2. his flat call with AK obviously hides his hand strength

i would have probably liked a call as opposed to the reraise... i hate playing cards like KJ, KQ, QJ because of situations like this. Chances are that if you hit, you don't know where you stand and you're dominated. It can seem like you're a long way ahead, and you commit your chips, but you're a long way behind.

As for your play... I don't like the reraise, but it can be used to find where you're at. Maybe a 3Bet to 18,000 so you can fold an all in? Or are you then getting the odds due to his shorter stack? Being nitty I'd like to throw it away at his raise.

    What do others think?
  3. Hand wasn't played bad, It happens.

Try narrowing down his range as the hand progresses. Since he flatted pre its really really wide. On the flop it seems pretty dry with a rainbow, His flat call on the flop should narrow the range down, this also depends on how his image is at the table (does he play pretty tight? has he flatted preflop before? play mostly premium cards?) we'll give him the benefit and say he's a good player he's made it this far. His range could be 44, K10o+ AJ-AKo, JJ is also a good possibility. His re raise on the turn is what should turn the light on for you. Its another heart, His raise could look like he's picked up the flush draw and if he was holding AQs he just made alot more outs, or he has a K and is trying to show strength wanting to push you off in case you have the draw. This also should narrow the range quite a bit. 44 and JJ is still a strong possibility and 44 could explain his flat call preflop, The only thing I would change is like previously said, if your gonna 3 bet there make it cheap enough that if he does come back over the top you could still get away from the hand. I think once he shoves his range is pretty much limited too 44, JJ, K10s, KJ, KQ, AK and you gotta swallow your pride and let it go.

Hope this helped. sorry if its to much to read through.
  4. played horrible?

With 50bbs yes... Leading out on the flop imo was your first mistake...

  8. I like the lead flop. I think when he c/r min turn. I probably flat with the intention of c/r the river. Prtty UL I doubt I put him on AK. If I were to guess his hand with the way it played out , looks alot more like 44 to me than AK.
  9. You played it fine. Preflop check is good.

Leading the flop against two players on a draw heavy board is smart.

When the turn comes you have to protect your hand against the draws out there, so it's time to play hard, and you did. Unfortunately the guy who limped AK preflop got lucky that you turned such a good 2nd-bester.
