1. First of all, i cant stand cheaters, especially in poker. But their arent many ways to cheat in poker
There was that guy in the WSOP just gone raking chips in from another players stack whilst raking in the pot.
And obviously online multi accounting, but my question is what are some ways you have seen people try to cheat in poker?

  2. I played with my grandfather and his war buddies a few years ago, 7 card stud obv.

Anyway I check-raised 6th street and they called me a cheater, I guess that used to be against the rules or just a no-no or something.
  3. Ever hear of collusion?

LOL, good one! Haven't thought of it in forever but I remember a couple games I was in where check raising was not allowed.
  5. PM....POTRIPPER
  6. There's a few ways i've cheated at the casino. Me and a buddy will sit at same table and when i want him to juice the pot i'll put a handful of chips on my cards. He would usually min. raise or something to that effect w/ callers in between, then i'd jam the pot. We always go in halfs w/ each other when we play. it's been profitable when we used to run together.

I got called a cheat for a check raise in a 1/2 limit game back in the good old Party Poker days. I laughed for a good half hour over tha one.

  8. Splashing the pot short has probably been used by many in the past. On the chk raise convo 1st time i played in vegas the card room had a big sign saying check raising allowed, i sat for some time thinking since when was it not allowed.

    Reason: Short not shot
  9. Poker, it's roots, have been associated with cheating, even when doyle and the oldies were playing. they hustled from town to town. If you can get an edge, however you decide to get that edge, at the game i suggest take it.

  19. Get your brother an account. Play both accounts in tournaments. When you bust and your brother's account goes deep, just use a little bit of the profit to put him in a few live games so that people believe that he's really the one who won. Profit.
