  1. I'm moving up to the $52s today. Is the play any different? I'm hoping it might even be softer with lots of fish looking for a quick double up.

P.S. Yes, brag post that I can afford the $52s now. Congrats me.
  2. Also, I tend to go on a downswing every time I move up a level. Almost without fail. I'd love to break this pattern of behavior, particularly because this will be the biggest stakes I've ever played at - any tips would be great.

  3. Last chance at a bump - I don't know anyone that plays at the $52 level so I'm relying on someone on here shedding some insight. Thanks.

  4. when the don first came out the 55,33 played the same as the 22 i know the structure has changed and i havent played them since they are all turbo and took out the 30 level. but i would not expect it to be too much different bc after all the 20s are half rounders half fish anyways.....
  5. ps let me know how they go...

Will do. I've noticed some of the $20 regulars are now in the $52s so hopefully the transition won't be so tough, though I am prepared for the initial downswing.

  7. TBH dntcal I normally play the 10.40 turbo's and the 20.80 don's but I did play one 52$ one and it is not very agressive and took almost 2 hrs to evict 5 players seemed like small pot poker.

My experience in it was fairly good as I cashed in and played some decent small ball poker in it but I have only played one so my thoughts on this level could be incorrect.
  8. I dont play stars much but on tilt the play in the 20s and 30s is just as poor as the 50s.

Only differnce I notice is there is always 1 or 2 sharks playing these 50s. Sharkscope your table and see who knows what they are doing.

Also, make really good notes when playin sngs. ex ' raised 3xbb on CO and folded to sb jam on 50/100 blinds'. Also keep up with bet patterns and note what kinda hand he had when doing so if shown down. Making detailed notes has really helped me make moves later on the bubble and when it gets down to 3.

  9. Ive never played the $20's but i played a session of about 10 $50 DOB's 6 turbo and 4 non turbo and play was amazingly terrible. A well timed min raise vs the right stack size would almost always get a fold i found it very easy to chip up at crucial times. I think i cashed in 9/10. You should'nt have a problem beating these.

  10. 31 dollars and 20 cents difference

  11. I haven't noticed any difference and I have played ~10 or so. Would be playing them now if I didn't donk off most my BR after me and my girl broke up.

GL and I'll see you at these in a week or two.
