I think the only thing u can do is email support and wait. I found this: https://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.co...play50280.html
Hopefully the player u sent to is not a regular player, and a decent person
GL -
you might get lucky, if the account hasnt been logged into then ft can reverse the transfer however if it has been active since the transfer then ur probably fucked unless they decide to send it back but thats a long shot.
also i think ftpdoug no longer works there
gl -
not good my friend, not good. I have always wondered about this. Every time I have transfered I always triple check the name and wonder what would happen if I did what you did. Keep us updated and let us know if you get your money back.
-
Right, this is a fucking joke. I've just had this email off FTP and this just is not good enough... we all KNOW they can transfer the money back so WHY THE FUCK NOT DO IT?
Hello Matt,
Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.
We're sorry you've accidentally sent funds to hero5656. While we understand that
mistakes occur, please be aware that it's your responsibility to ensure all
information is entered correctly when sending funds.
We'll contact hero5656 on your behalf to request they transfer the funds back to
you. While we hope that they cooperate, they cannot be forced to return the
funds, and Full Tilt Poker cannot replace the funds or be held liable for this
transfer.
Thank you for your understanding, and if you have any questions or concerns,
please contact us.

Obv youre not a scammer, but they have to do this to prevent scammers from operating. Hopefully the person is a decent human being and will give the $ back. gl

We all know FTP support sucks but for security issues like this they're has to be somethin...
I think you will be in luck because the letter they send makes it sound like an 'error' has occurred & that money belongs to XXXXX. They will go on to say that if you indeed believe this transfer to be in error please send it back to xxxxx. They don't say some idiot (sorry) accidentally sent you some money & it's up to you whether you want to send it back. May I suggest cut & pasting user names in the future.
Good luck. -
On another note, Merry X-mas to Hero5656! Matt is sfgenerous. Best chance if he/she/it is a pfiver.
-
well, U fucked up! Why didnt you check the name? lol

Heres a true story for ya. About three years ago When I first started playing online, I had $63 dollars in my account and The next day when I logged in I had $2063. Through FT We got in contact and I shipped him the money back right away. The guy, (whos name was TAKINPOTS) Then said since I was cool and gave the money back that he would send me $ 535 to play him in a Sng and if I won I could keep the money. Obv I shipped it When My 66 out flopped his qq. But he was very nice and it obv was huge for me.
Needless to say, You might get the money back. I hope you do man. Gl -
I did the same thing like a year ago was really gay, FTP's transfer system needs to be a bit more secure imo
-
thanks for the money...i will use it wisely.
-
HOUSTON, could we have another Bourke1?
just alot richer!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Did you get your $ back? I hope the guy's a mensch and does the right thing.
-
I'm fairly sure here and correct me if I am wrong, but the accurate alias under which Bourke is known is Bourke_1. However, I choose to refer to him quite simply as God.
-
Looks like Hero5656 hadnt played in over a month, then yesterday took a chance in a 1.00 sng. I'm guessing he'll be in the 109's by tomorrow. That blows, Stars had no problem just reversing my errant transfer awhile back - why cant' FTP do the same?
-
I dont think FTPDoug is employed with them anymore if memory serves.
-
FTPdoug does still work for them and i think his email has been posted here before

Hello Ryan,
Thank you for your email.
The following message is displayed when making a <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1228783735_0>real money transfer</SPAN> on
<SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1228783735_1>PokerStars</SPAN>:
"PokerStars does not intervene in disputes between players relating to
transfers. If you do not know this recipient personally, or if this
transfer is part of a multi-part transaction (such as the sale of T$ or
W$, which cannot be directly transferred by players), you may wish to
contact <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1228783735_2>support@pokerstars.com</SPAN> for assistance."
As a one time exception to this stated policy we have corrected this
transfer by first transferring the money back from 'JustHere2Win' to your
account.
We would advise that you exercise greater caution when transferring
funds to players in the future.
Thank you for your playing here on PokerStars. Please let us know
any time we may be of further assistance.

Adriana A.

They can't do much better than ask the guy on your behalf. What if you had sent him on FTP and he sent you on Stars in a fair trade - then you pretend it was a mistake and screw him over? GL, hope he is a stand up guy and ships back, but don't count on FTP to force him to.
