  1. after this many limpers would you rather raise a good amount like 5x the big blind or 3x to get callers then reevaluate when your playing out of position with AA

  2. I make it about 2300-2500 in this spot. No wait, youre OOP, add 500 more to that.

  3. I like a bigger raise here, could look like you're just trying to pick up the dead money, and maybe the UTG limp is a big hand that might push.
  4. sandler; i c u got good scores....so was this your attempt at witty humor?

  5. huh? You do realize the blinds are 250-500....and not 500-1000 like you put in the title, correct?

  6. i raise to 2401 and get called b/c people hate the 1 on the end.

What was wrong w what he said?
  8. you initially asked whether 3-5x..... sandlers answer is right around 5x, why would you think he was joking

  9. i meant the big blind; thus 500...i exaggerated the interval just to get more of a discussion

and it seemed his answer was sarcastic with the "No wait, youre OOP, add 500 more to that."

if he was being serious he would have answered straightforward the first time

.....i guess just my opinion...but i didnt c a serious discussion response to that...sorry if its a dumb question but just a curious situation to me...

  10. and i guess ur right....he answered around 5x...sorry been drinking a little while playin 2nite

i guess would u rather give them pot odds to play with like 2000 there or make it like 3500 or so to give u an idea of there hand range

  13. Try to check it down, if he bets you have to decide for yourself based off of your read on him/her.

  15. unless you somehow give him credit for A. being a retard, or B. having 99, your AA is probably still good here
  16. It is really read-dependent here - tight/loose, passive/aggressive? Buyin level helps as well.

I will guess this tourney is around the $5 mark (judging by your profile), so without a great read I bet again. It is 5 handed and yes he may have flopped a straight or set or something random, but I would expect him to re-shove on the flop. If he called for like 1/3 of his stack on the flop with midpair and a gutshot, well pay the man.

And since he has less than the pot left, just put him allin.
  17. After pre and flop you're allin no matter what on the turn. nh
