poisoneye1986 - I had opened a decent amount preflop but have been showing mostly strong hands at showdown and havent gotten all aggressive post flop when i have missed.
his call otf looks like its only a Queen or a flush draw, w/ this dangerous of a board i think hes raising all straights/2 pair/set/combodraws.
whats best? i ranked my best plays according to this: check/raise> bet/call> bet/fold> check/fold> check/call
it was sunday if that plays into his hand at all.</SPAN> -
how is check folding better than check calling?
-
bet call. Most people will probably check behind with a queen, or depending how he plays draws might take the free card. 100% not folding and I don't want to give the free card.

This is irrelevant I think. At this point people are just playing their hands. You're not getting floated by any decent players at the 25/50 blind level.

His range is a lot wider than this; AQ, KQ, QT, AJ, KJ, JT, AT, KT, 9T,all pocket pairs except QQ/JJ/99 (lotta ppl are gonna call ur bet on this flop with any pair to see if u have AK)
whats best? i ranked my best plays according to this: check/raise> bet/call> bet/fold> check/fold> check/call
Check/raise and bet/call are both turribad. Bet/fold is OK, but it's kinda retarded to not play the hand so that you get to showdown. Check/fold is obvoiusly dumb. I like check on the turn for pot control. You get added value on the riv from top pair hands that aren't going to call a triple barrel. Plus if you bet the turn, the pot is way bigger than you want on this board with KK early on.

Nope. </SPAN> -
blueberleez so your calling the turn? what do you do if villian checks behind? value bet river i guess? also what do you do if villian bets turn bets river? check/call turn check/fold river?
it also depends on the river cards im speaking about blanks mostly -
Check/calling the turn for sure. If he checks behind I make a 1/2 pot sized bet on river, probably fold if he raises.

But it's highly unlikely he raises river bc he would have to have a boat or a straight, at worst. Boat is unlikely since he doesn't have a pocket pair, and he would have raised two pair on the flop. If he has KT, he's probably not reraising on a paired board.
