This question is geared towards the guys that make good money online, and buy good I mean making as much or more as you would with a degreed job (3-5k/mo.) I relate poker alot to my MMA game. I trained for about a year and a half before I felt like things clicked, and when they did, my game skyrocketed. Do you feel like its the same in poker? I feel like there are so many individual pieces that one learnsabout the game of poker, and it takes applying them all together to be very successfull, and as in MMA, you also have to have a transition game. Meaning, how you play the situation is as important as know what specific move to make, if that makes sense. Do you guys feel like this at all? Was there on specific event that helped your game? Anyone care to mentor someone who actually cares about getting better and realizing the money is a product of that, not just looking to get rich quick? lol Thanks!

yes i am bragging about my illustrious mma career long before it was popular making $35 a fight, fucking glamorous I tell you......get a grip dude, you act like I said I fought in the UFC, like most MMA douchbags.....I started training when I was 18, got to travel, have fun, and had some good fights, still train, just don't fight, so get a life or stay off my thread, I was just asking a simple question using an analogy that I know well. How many mma fights do you have? and how many tournament cashes do you have? I want to hear from real players with real winning experience...thanks

Let me start off by saying I suck. But I think once I realized that the cards were not everything was a big turning point in my game, went from horrendous to o.k. but still pretty shitty.

ya well u obviously need training, and screw these guys who get on ur case, i see it's not a brag post, just trying to learn, so good luck to u bud, just get out there, get your feet wet, experience the game, try all games, see what u like best, see what game is best situated for you, learn your bankroll management obv, dont just dive into big games b/c u see a big pay day and think u can win, u have to work your way up to start, but the money will come in time my friend, so good luck to u, hope to one day see u heads up in the sunday million
