I have recently made a switch to playing PLO cash almost exclusively. I have been using pokertracker to track my results/analyze my play. Anyone have any thoughts on how many hands I would have to have played to have a reasonable estimate of my profitability? I honestly don't know this number for holdem, but would think it would be a bigger number for omaha due to the higher variance of the game.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for the help! -
for holdem I would say:
20k to know if you are a winner or not (I think you may need more, but usually 20k should let you know)
100k to get some idea of winrate -
100k for a general idea
300k to know true winrate?
