  1. I've been a No Limit player for the last 5 years (Mostly heads up sngs) and made my living off it while I was in college.. Over the last 6 months, I lost almost all desire to play, esp. now that I am graduated and got a big boy job, so I don't really need the money. My roomate had been playing limit and making a good amount doing it, and I told him how I hated limit, and it took little to no skill (He was playing 2-4 , 3-6, 5-10, so basically lower limits) So, being bored one day I sat down and played for a lil bit playing 3-6 and turned a nice lil profit. Needless to say the last two weeks, I've almost exclusively played limit, and have found it to be profitable, and pretty easy money, that takes little to no thought to play.. So you can actually talk to friends, watch tv, do other things and not even really have to focus, which you can't really do if your playing No-Limit... Just wondering if any other people have made the change and how they like it....
  2. yep, limit owns, i play limit cashgames most of the time...

Mainly cause i am in school and i work, so no time for tourneys.

Limit is great if you play the math and dont go too crazy, it also helps to stop your session immtd. if you are playing/running bad cause there is a lot of variance.

I find the mid limit cashgames on party and stars are the best... Unfortunately the tourneys do not get enough players, but i enjoy them too because they do not take 10 hrs..lol
  3. I thought it was pretty standard to start out in Limit and move to No Limit once youve gained experience and can win. Might explain why Im so bad at NL, I got everything ass backwards. I Limit Holdem though.
  4. Limit poker with rakeback can turn a nice little profit. Just takes more patience.
