How many people have played at least 1 hand of online poker?

    For my honors thesis group project we're studying the marketability of poker calculators for use by internet players. Wondering how big the widest market range would be. Any guess would be welcome too. I was guessing 2 million but that's probably wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy off.

    If you want to be safe, I would say the best thing to do is go to the most poker sites you can...email them and see if you can get a total number of subscribers...Id assume 95% of those have played at least one hand.

    Figure that 5% are old accounts, double accounts, unused accounts, etc.
