Normal first payout, etc? anyone know
-
~20k (give or take) on average for 1st. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Average field is low to mid 200's (it has hit 300's on busy weekends). Again, it can be more or less depending on what's going on that weekend. Usually lasts about 12 hours. It's a rough guestimate as I don't play it all the time, but it should be close enough. It's a good structure (the best in AC, IMO). However it is a little steep if you don't have the roll.

i only played it once and it wasnt that huge... only 9900 for first and a lil under 100 players.. good structure tho... this was about 2 months ago tops

Really? That's odd. Only reason I can think of is that they were running sattys for the Borgata Poker Open events which ran all of June.
-
Where can I find info on these satty's? I am headed to AC in August. Didn't see anything on Borgata website.
-
I played in it a couple months back and it only drew around 90 runners. Tons of old nits and tight wads, not really the greatest tourny in ac from all my experience. The $300 friday tourney is much much better imo.
-
I'm playing + at least 1, but maybe 2 or 3 this weekend.
Live multi-accounting ftw -
My mistake. I was thinking about Friday. Friday's tournament is a $50k guarantee. It is definitely a better tournament and more closely reflected in my previous post.
I still maintain that Borgata's tournament structure is still the best in AC. Even though they are one of the few places that run antes, theire structure is one of the slowest you're going to find. -
antes=better structure imo
-
Used to be a 75k, as early as last year. Prize pools woould exceed 100k some days. And I too agree that they have the best structure down there.

so will the saturday tourney get 200 runners?
-
this past Wednesday's tourney had 452 players for the 15k guaranteed - 1st place was 13k - dealers said it was the most in quite a while. They are figuring the 50k will be around 300+/- this Friday - this is just all coming from the dealers...
-
It's doubtful since there's no guarantee. 1st will pay like 7-9 grand, which is still better than anywhere else. There is also this event coming up: (copied from Borgata's website)

They usually have a Friday where they offer a bigger guarantee like once a month depending on what's going on, but it's normally 50k.
