how many tables you play for cash games??

    Just started playing 8 tables after buying 2 30 inch Dell monitors... (ok semi brag :))

    I use to 5 table comfortably, and I use to run at a vpip of like 20 with a PF% of 17, but now I run at 17-14. Anybody else increased the number of tables they play, and intentionally or nonintentionally started nitting it up?????

    Im doing really well playing eight tables, so maybe its what I needed....play more tables, spew less.

    i play 2 tables at a time so I can observe what's going on at both tables. Any more than that I get annoyed when when the screens start coming up all at the same time and I have to make 5 decisions that I don't get to think through.

    edit: nice monitors btw.

    for cash games i just run 4. i like to see how everyone is playing, pick up some reads. but for sngs im running 12 at a time, dont really go by reads, instant decissions

    between 4 and 6 depending on how i feel.

    The difference in my play between 6 and 8 tables is significant enough that i generally dont do it.

    It makes sense that you will play tighter the more tables you have. In fact, you will probably HAVE to play tighter because looser play requires you to know your opponents better, something you cannot do too well playing 6 or more tables, unless you play so high that you have a significantly smaller player pool.

    with numbers like 17/14 what are you playing? 6 man tables?
