A bit of background: I just got moved to this table, and I played the first 2 hands I was dealt (I guess you could say I was on a little streak). I figured a good size raise may look like I'm stealing...but I guess you could say it didn't work. Do you think it's a right size raise, just no takers, or too big a bet. Thanks! -
You know Murph...everything in poker is relative...Sometimes your raises work and sometimes they don't....It often comes down to what you sense someone will call...Also each person has his own limits and a different amount of gamble in them...This just looks like a more solid table respecting your raise...If you'd raised smaller you might have got in hands that could outdraw you...Just keep stacking up the small pots so you can play the big ones...
