How much money does PS make a day?

    I know this sound like a dumb question but with all the tournament going on and the rake they are getting, it seem the amount they make is crazy. Also, how much does a staff on PS makes?

    Edit: if I was guessing I'd say the cash game rake might b a bit more.

    I think you misread it, only because he didnt specifically mention cash games, that what he was talking about.

    one day i gain about $50 playing 8 hour straight at a limit ring table. Then the battle of the planet came and then i started to play sng only. There were lots of people fishing for their straight of flush and they made me go on tilt, so now i am going for a straight or flush, forget pocket pair, they always lose for me.

    Can you provide a reference for that? I wouldn't expect a private company such as pokerstars to be releasing quarterly reports (or any profit statement for that matter).

    lvpokerdealer, they odnt have quarterly reports, nor have they ever released anything about profits. Nice magic number tho. If it was a joke, it was a poor one.

    I think if you look a $/min just for cash games it would overwhelm you. The average table has 60 hands/hour (which is a low estimate), and stars easily carries 10k tables average all the time. I would guess a good average rake across all limits per table would be $.25/hand.

    So, 10k*$.25 = $2500/minute, just off cash games. So that makes $150k/hour, $3.6mil a day, $1.3billion a year...just on cash games, just on low estimates off of cash games

    Maybe you can understand why the US is a little antsy about not being able to tax this.

    Ruth Parasol, one of the founders of party poker is still on the Forbes 400 list. I think she was the150th richest person on the planet.

    PS is much more profitable than Party. I would imagine PS has an EBITA of 500 million a year.
