  1. Sounds noob, but I don't care. I'd really appreciate tips/pointers. I just can't figure out how to multi AP. On UB, I just use the "miniscreen" function and can work 3 tables fine. Since there is no such function on AP, I have tried re-sizing, but can't get any reasonable setup. In the past, I've tabbed back and forth, but that sux.
Is this a problem because I have an older monitor? Or am I missing a trick here?

    Thanks.
  2. i think its 1600x1200 resolution required to multitable 4 comfortably. I could be wrong. I play on 1024x768 blagh, so no multi table unless i want to go insane.
  3. u need to to have 1600x1200 resolution in order to fit 4 tables with no overlap. Dual monitors are a must for any serious player :)

  4. I am a tech noob. I don't even know what my monitor's res. is, even after I tried to check it in the Control Panel when I realized it's probably an issue.
So, if I need serious resolution for 4 tables, there's no way to fit 2-3 on crap res....?
ANd yes, I'd like to invest in a new system, multiple monitors -

but I'd have no clue how to set that bad boy up!!

  5. ..the only poker site I've found anywhere that allows fully functional and easy 'table re-sizing' is the new party poker interface......... I can easliy fit 4 tables each on two monitors at party poker at 1024 X 768 res...so I can play on eight tables and see everything just fine........

I would appreciate info on any other sites that allow custom 'table-resizing'.......this is certainly the FUTURE of on-line poker and eventually all sites will allow custom resizing of their tables.....

Most newer laptops have a 'monitor port' in addition to their regular laptop display, so you could get a newer laptop and just plug in your old monitor to the laptop.......then you instantly have 'two monitors'.......WindowsXP easily handles this configuration.........so with a laptop and your old monitor you are all set to play with 'two monitors'.......no other harware or software is needed....

If you get a new desktop computer, you probably need an additional video card for a second monitor, or you could get a 'multi-monitor card' (like Matrox) and even plug in four (or even more) monitors into one desktop computer.......

I use a laptop with one full sized LCD monitor plugged in.......gives me play on eight tables......I think eight is my limit........I'm not sure I would ever WANT to play on more than eight !!!
  6. If u have $1500 then just get 2 21" monitors and a dual monitor video card and you are good to go!! I could never go back to just one monitor.

  7. upgrade your system in steps, stating with the monitor. if your looking to comfortably multitable get a dell2001fp or comparable. one monitor w/ 1600*1200 will change the way you play poker. you likely dont need the second monitor just yet as youll be already able to play 4 tables comfortably. the reason i say dont get the second one yet is just a price thing really, just notice how much difference it is with one 'good' monitor before you make yourself crazy trying to play 8 games at once. the difference the resolution will make will blow your mind.
