  1. I put him on AK or PP when he kept check/called flop and turn. When he tanked on river to my shove I was worried it was 88-TT.
Could I have won with less of a bet on a river? Did shove look weak? Was this guy not going to fold no matter what?

  2. After he calls the flop and turn, i doubt he is folding river.
  3. these kind of plays make my head explode. theyre too pussy to c-bet 2nd pair on a Jack high board, yet theyre completely ok with calling off all their chips on every street anyways. I probably would have shoved turn if I wanted him to fold. I think the call on turn means he has something that he wont fold to a river bet anyways. though im pretty sure he would have called a shove on the turn too given the way he plays. on the riv though, he either missed his draw and isnt gonna call you anyways, so you should probably check giving him a chance to bluff, or he has a pair 10's or jacks and will call you because the river bricked out to any realistic draws you would have been playing. either way, this guy played his hand like a complete pussy and go totally paid off because of it, which in a perfect world would never happen. too bad you didnt spike a 7 on the riv.

Yes, probably true. I would have had 1900 chips left checking behind on river. I wonder if he folds to 1000 bet, which might look more like a value bet

  5. unfortunately he can't really ever fold the river here i think. on the flop and turn he's decided his hand is still good. so he can't change his mind on the riv unless a big scare card comes out like a club , or another overcard. but still probably doesnt fold
