  1. I still have quite a few low/micro tournaments that I still keep in my daily schedule and after reviewing my last 200 games I'm beginning to wonder if I'm paying off sets with over pairs too loosely.

I mean I just cant ever ever ever ever seem to dump it with the tabling cold calling 5 bets with K3o and shit like that. Is this a leak? Is it even worth fixing?

Pretty much the only way I ever get rid of it is to the snap check mini-raise which, given the correct board, is a set 99% of the time. Other than that I'm sticking it in every single time. Help?
  2. im paying it off prettymuch every time
  3. This really depends on your reading skills and the blind size at the moment.

If you make a raise and your openent calls without the proper odds to set mine and he hits his set, dont feel so bad about he is making the mistake. As I said, this is specially true when the blinds are high and the avg stack is around 20-25bb.

When you are deepstacked, this really depends on the player you are facing, the lines he is taking and his style?

    Lines:
For instance if he check calls flop, turn but check raise all in the river or lead with a big bet in the river, this is a set a lot of times from my experiences.
You mentioned the mini check raise in flop with a raised pf, and this is sometimes true but not really 99% of the time.

    Style:
If you raise UTG with QQ and get called by a NIT in late position and he raised your cbet in a 724 rainbow flop, you can expect to be crushed most of the time. This would no be so true if the players was looser because his range of raising a dry flop would be wider. Also please be aware of the texture of the flop. Its more likely someone is raising with a set in a dry board than a wet one.

You can also try to pot control by checking behind in some street or betting smaller than you would do normally if you are not so sure you are ahead.

    Good luck
  4. 99 percent of the time, folding to random donkamnets in micro tourneys should just NEVER be in your mind set, your losing equity and giving up edges. Now if were deep stacked late in a tourney then obviously reads do apply, but even then folding still seems bad unless were up against an absolute NIT.
  5. 50% of the time errytime
