Short-handed, once that turn hits, you've got problems, especially short-handed. I think I would have definitely bet the flop to try and figure out where you might stand. And definitely take a long long think about the river...what can you beat? His turn and river bets looks like value bets (as opposed to just trying to buy the pot, which is usually a push in a tournament like this). You're getting odds to chase the flush on the turn. The river bet is a hard one to call, but probably the right call to make since you're playing for the win.
