So lets say you go to play cash games in a casino and you and your two friends decide you will share the variance and chop all the weekends action.
At the end of the weekend, the wins and losses are as follows, how is everyone paid back, etc according to a basic chop?
Player A wins $350
Player B wins $150
Player C loses $1200
How does this work? -
Kick Player C off the team
-
Your group lost 700 bucks.
So 233 per person. In effect, A pays 585 to C and B pays 383 to C.
You should get a better poker friend than C. -
Looks to me like you lost 700 as a team. So each person would be responsible for 700/3. Without knowing how much each person put up you can't say who gets/owes what besides that it would be (buyin - 700/3)
-
erm...never team with other people. be confident in yourself.
unless you were player c.... -
Well we were only making fun of player C because it is a hypothetical situation and we don't know anything about what happened.

Point being, who pays who and according to what math?
I believe sharing action in cash games is fairly common?
But apparently you are player C. no worries.
I beleive I already did the math for you above... everybody loses the same amount. -
Should have colluded and guaranteed a win and avoided whole problem.
