  1. My table image was pretty tight/nitty - I had 2x up once with QQ, and otherwise hadn't shown any hands. I'm about average chip stack with 170 left when this hand comes up...

  2. Friendly bump. Any thoughts on how to play this hand are appreciated. Thanks.

  3. Just some thoughts from a micro donk here.

If the raiser and caller have been tight and strong I prefer a simple call and hope to hit my set and get paid off. Any resistance on the flop if missed or show of real strength then I'm done with the hand.

If the raiser and caller have been playing agressive, lots of pots, opening alot, flat calling etc, then I'm inclined to put in a nice re-raise here to see where I'm at.

But just to once again qualify the above. I am micro donk please.
  4. Thanks for the thoughts. The raiser has been fairly tight, and has pretty good MTT results. The first caller was playing a lot of pots, and has OK MTT results. The second caller had not been playing a lot of pots, and had relatively poorer MTT results compared to the other callers.

  5. squeeze! I like the push here, unless you are unlucky enough that the utg has aa, kk, or qq, you are good. More likely he has lower pair or Ax. The others behind would have reraised with aa, kk, qq. Im thinking even if you get called by ak or aq, a few of their outs have been taken away by the others. You might get a frustrated or hopeful call from 77 or 88 looking for a race!
  6. Sorry didn't see the 2nd caller. With you already popping 400 in the BB and the pot being at 3000ish, then I still call the 500 and look to hit my set.

You're likely ahead of both callers, if they have better than JJ I think they probably re-raise there especially if aggressive and playing lots of pots. Obv initial raiser is the worry, and his tight image with good MTT results suggests that your JJ are second best unless he's holding AK AQs, or perhaps even p9's and p10's.
  7. I believe there is 3125 in the pot when it gets to u. Any raise here by you is basically gonna pot commit u, so it all comes down to what your read is on the others. I will say that the original raisers almost min raise looks suspicious, but he has a small stack and he may be trying to play a small pot so he can get away from the hand cheaply. I think I move allin here, You might get unlucky and see KK or AA but I doubt it, based on this. My thinking is original raiser has medium PP and will fold. I also doubt stackncheese will call as i think he woulda reraised himslef with a hand. For what its worth i am most concerned about cyprean.

sorry, for some reason i thought u had QQ. Now i call and push any low flop. Check fold anything with overs.
