How sites can have all mtt's take breaks together...

    obviously it sucks when youre multitabling mtt's and you never get a break to piss, smoke, eat, blaze, make a call or whatever...but heres a rough idea of how a site could change this

    All tournaments take a break at the top of every hour...nothing changes about start times, but no matter how long a particular MTT has been running <1 hour, it stops at X:00 and takes a 5 min break, and resumes at X:05 along with every other tournament.

    for all tournaments that start anytime other than the top of the hour, the only ramification is that you will play less than 1 hour before your first break. if a tournament starts at X:50, you play 10 minutes of the first level, pause for a break and then play the rest of the level and continue on an hour by hour basis.

    for those who worry this would cause 'confusion' to people playing many tournies at a time who might get confused about the time left in a blind level, there are two options:

    1. click 'tourney info' and figure it out quickly
    2. sites could start all guaruntee tournies at :00, :15, :30, :45 (not sure if this is feasible/reasonable)

    anyways, just a rough idea and if you have any suggestions or improvements, add them

    Would you wait until all tournaments are done with all their hands before break starts?

    yea this idea has been suggested be4 on this forum w/o any response from the site :-(. It is still a great idea and i hope they implement it asap!

    thers is no way this will ever be possible.. Think about how long it would take for all running mtts to finish their current hand. That alone would take over the normal 5 minute break. The dude above me speaks truth...I use a laptop and I have a 32'' flat screen hooked up to it, so if i need to go make food or take a shit, i just un-plug it and go on my way

    Only way i see it can be possible but i never think happend is to have a 10-15 minuts break every 4 hour or something simular which will mean tourneys will end faster which should be good for the sites....
    And very good for all off the player how multitable all day long..
    This way i would def play longer days

    15 min break every 3 hours, imo....11:45, 2:45, 5:45, 8:45, 11:45, etc...

    i bet it would put a lot of extra strain on their servers, no?
