    This is not as difficult as you might think. You don't need to win a big Sunday tournament or play all day or even every day or even spend a lot of money on the large tourneys. All you have to do is understand the way Poker stars TLB points are awarded.

    First of all they only count your BEST 20 finishes for the entire month. THerefore, you don't need to accumulate points from a hundred tourneys - only 20. If you earn points from 50 tourneys only the top 20 count for the month. This challenge is about quality of play as much or more than quanity. Obviously you won't get points every time you play though.

    Poker Stars awards points to the top 15% of the field. So you don't need a large bankroll to participate. It may actually be easier to win the TLB playing the large fields with low buy-ins than small fields with large buy-ins. I was surprised to see that you get about 550 TLB points for finishing first in a $150 NL Hold'em with 350 players and about the SAME for fininshing first in a 800 person field with a $10 buy-in. All of this information is available on Poker Stars. There is an Excel spreadsheet there so you can do 'what if' scenerios.

    Poker Stars rewards large fields more than it does large buy-ins when it comes to the TLB.

    $5k to any pocket 5er who was a p5er since at least Aug 1st that beats Darrell77 (AKA Gigabet) by the most pokerstars TLB points for this month. So you, obviously, are included.
