How would it feel to bubble the $1 main event qualifier?

    Lol, so I was thinking about bubbling the $1 main event qualifier and how nothing could probably be any shittier. Anybody been in that spot before or know anybody that bubbled? I would probably break everything in my room..

    I'd be on permanent life tilt. Beating 30,000 players , starring right at 12k , and then get nothing...... things would be broken

    The guy who bubbles at least has a great (sad) story. The guy who finishes two spots out is probably in a shittier mood - basically beat the same number of people but the story is a lot worse.

    Because you beat 99.99% of the field and you get a kick in the nuts. 200k less than the winner hurts easily as much as missing out on a crappy 12k seat where you have to sign your soul over to the site and be their bitch.

    In 2008 I won a 4000 FPP WSOP satty seat playing a 40FPP+R tourney.. and I bubbled the satty. 4th/600 with 3 seats paying, 9 hours in. It was devastating! Actually couldn't sleep well for days. I like to think I have a better perspective on things now, but it sure sucked at the time..

    yea, I've been in a similar spot I guess. It wasn't a $1 buyin, I think it was a $33+r or something, but there was just enough in the prizepool so that 1st got the seat and 2nd got a remaining $1. I had like 4:1 CL HU and the guy goes on to make the most amazing comeback I've ever seen. When he takes down the final pot, he types into chat "enjoy your dollar". That was when I finally decided I hate all poker players.
