  2. I reraise his flop bet and if he pushes I fold. If he calls I check fold to a bet. With no read thats what I do.

Betting into you is a big way to show strenght, but buy you just calling with an over pair, you get no info on what he has. Thats why I raise his 8.5 bet to say $20-24.

EDIT: I didn't notice you checked in to him. Thats ok, then just reraise to 20-24 to find out were you are, then refer to above.

I don't like the lead out here because with the board paring like that this guy could make a move with AK, 10's-8's just betting on you not having the a "J". Just calling his raise was a very bad idea.
  3. How about just leading out at the flop? You found out nothing by check-calling...the check-raise is OK, but I'd rather just bet out and see how he responds. If he raises back at you hard, you can make a decision to get away from it then.

It's a tricky hand, because if you bet and he raises, he could easily be making that play with TT or QQ or something like that if he's putting you on AK/AQ. It's tough to find out the right information for as cheaply as possible here.

  4. I lead out with a pot sized bet and see if my opponent calls. If he does I see what he does after I check the turn. He bet $25+$8.50+$3.50 which is more than 1/3 of his $$ at the table and I don't think he is getting rid of his hand so I probably would lay it down. He bet the pot on the turn and I think he bet too much. You only have $12 invested and if this is an usually big bet for him toss it away.
