i love how many people combine two things:

    1) narrowing a persons range to exactly four hands

    2) narrowing a persons range to hands that hero beats exactly

  8. I call, but I would have liked to see a bigger bet on the flop. ... somewhere along the lines of 2,400.

Why isn't 99, 77 or QQ in his range, as well? Additionally, why is KK in his range here? Wouldn't he reraise pre if that was the case?

this wouldnt be good, flop bet is fine, prob call turn but not alll tht pleased to see him shove, since most of his draw hands would have been raised on the flop if he was going to raise them at all.

Civicccc is obv NOT holding 1 of these 4 hands or it wouldn't be posted here. How do you rule out 77/99? that being said... I usually find myself calling here b/c I see AQ so often.

    grats on being results-oriented

---edit, nvm thought you were the OP

    but ya call
  13. results? we're all curious as to what set was flopped? or did he float and turn a set of ducks?
  14. villain is obv a loosing player ( acc to OPR ) and doesn´t play much so altho it´s a HSMTT turney i def call here this type of villain..chances of him spewing around with weaker holdings are too big to cosider folding imo

Those 4 hands are all in range. Civiccc could even be holding J10CC.

  16. not 100% whether its a call or not but at least have a plan when u bet the turn. timebank is there for a reason. decide if you think he can shove worse and plan a bet/call or decide that maybe all ur value comes from flats which can be a ton of value so u can bet/fold. that or you can c back and evaluate river just for pot control maybe if u dont think u can get 3 streets from worse than AA.

just have a plan when u bet the turn is all im trying to say

  19. When I get Aces and face betting like this, 80+% of the time they have a set.
Allright its at lower buyins than this, but i was surprised how many posts are saying call all day.
Also its about time they banned OPR and its like, if your attempting to move up the buyins, they allow the established players to spot the less experienced guys and target them all day.
    Ban the bleedin things.
