ehhh really, such a fish in poker and a fish in life. Lol, I figure by the end of his run he'll be chasing a 1m+ loss, and begging that supermodel materialista not to take half his empire--variance catching up ftw.

yea because he plays all the time for variance to have any affect on him......and lol @ him begging a ho to stay with him when he's worth over a billion.........the whole post is full of fail

hsp without gabe and ftp players is pretty much dead

phil ruffin is no different than the donkeys that play 2/5NL live at any casino. That hand against Peat was horrendous. And it was EXTREMELY apparent in the interview about that hand that he wasn't calling b/c he had a read or anything like that. He just stuck in $30K more on the flop, $50K on the turn and $100K on the river like a schmuck with no thought. Just like the old donkeys that play low levels live in casinos around the country. Just stick it in with no concept.
That was atrocious. I literally could replace his face with a bunch of people I play with regularly, but instead of the $10000s of dollars, its for much less. Peat should have known better than to try to bluff 3 streets, but that easily should have worked. -
Norm is funny as hell. I just wish they would bring in a good young poker player like Haxton to do the poker commentary. Or just forget about the poker commentary altogether because it's some of the stupidest shit I have ever heard. Also, he should stop trying to predict what the players are going to do because it just makes him look bad.

And btw, I thought Gabe was also extremely funny as well.
As far as the players go, like everyone else, I thought the game was more entertaining when Durrrr or Ivey is in it. But it's not the end of the world. I like seeing the millionaire fish at the table. They kinda look like the tourists at the Taj in Rounders. Totally clueless. -
Said it perfectly. It's sick to even watch someone with that much money play so badly. At least Klein plays respectably, and Croak was a nice guy so he was fine while he was around, but Ruffin just makes me furious. I find myself rooting for whoever is playing against him. But Peat shouldn't have tried to bluff a donkey, and also, he wasn't calling because he thought Viff was bluffing. He just saw two Kings and got a boner. God awful play. Also, how about Doyle's snap fold of the lower set of 6's against Selbst. The King is back.

Stole my thoughts, so I'll try to revamp.

1. impressed as hell w/ Dollly's snap fold - Selbst has his number for sure - you can tell she is getting under his skin, but he knew he was beat so he folded
2. we are desperately trying to get Croak into our home game! (unfortunately our pockets aren't deep enough for a fish the size of Ruffin)
3. thought Croak was the worst of all of the players (see #2 above). Ruffin was incredibly lucky in many respects (such as having a bigger fish fold a flush). Thought Klein was the best of the 3 fish but he was incredibly unlucky.
4. thought Norm started to come around in ep3 - comments like comparing Viffer to a serial killer (which was so damn funny because it was soooo true)
5. thought Viffer was actually quite pissed off spouting off to Selbst how she has "cost him millions" by making those damn instructional videos
6. just hoping the duck (Selbst) can at least get back to even before she leaves - she's playing very good poker - but surely she wishes she had the QQ hand from ep1 to do all over again - although you have to love her heart - the look on her face when she flopped the nut straight against Dolly who then shoved on her was priceless - she knew she couldn't fold - she probably knew he was on a major flush draw - and she knew that if her hand didn't hold up, she was gonna be just devastated and probably have to quit the game - but she played the hand properly and thankfully Doyle was a gentleman allowing 2 runs which kept her even instead of stuck deeper
fun show especially with those3 new fish
