How many times have you made it through an sng or mtt to the point where you are heads up and found yourself wondering how you were supposed to adjust your play to maximize EV? You've probably heard that being aggresive is the way to go and that you need to put pressure on your opponent. Sure, that sounds well and good, but what do you to when you only have 6 big blinds left with Q5sooooooted and the button shoves? Aggresssion won't do you much good there...but SAGE will.
I'm not sure how many of you know about SAGE, but it's news to me. If you haven't heard of it, SAGE is a mathematical system that tells you how to play heads up when the stacks are starting to get small (I'm sure you can get an idea of where to use it from my little speel above). If you play HU NLHE and aren't familiar with it, check out this article.

I couldn't believe the simplicity of it...I think it only too me a couple of "tries" to memorize it all. If any of you veterans of HU have anything to say about SAGE, I'm all ears.
