Hustler Casino Thurs. Night Tournies

    Going to LA for business. Only really can play on thurs. night 2/7 and will most likely play in this tourney. Just wondering what the casino was like, how early to sign up, what type of play, ect..... Or if there are any better options around town. thanks in advance for the responses.

    get a players card and sign up at least a half hour early..

    better (cheaper) options are at the Bicycle Casino @ 7pm or midnight.

    7pm is a $50 buy in and midnight madness is the same. $2k in starting chips. blinds start at 25/25. usually 130-175 players.

    Ive played in a few Hustler tourneys and IMO the structure is horrible. Blinds go up quickly and it turns into a shovefest at the end. There are lots of regulars and a good mix of bad players. You must be very agressive toward the middle/end of the tourney and keep your chip stack healthy. Good luck ...
