What an arrogant prick
-
What? I left him a chip so he would still have a chance! He did get up to 4 chips I'll have you know.
-
Have you ever heard the expression, discretion is the better part of valor? Everyone is use to a sore loser, big deal you're raking the pot who care's if the loser is mad. But if you lose and the guy that wins throws a "verbal jab" at you, it's a lil hard to take. This guy had no chips and you had very lil to profit from this move, that was sure to tilt most players. No class, I say.
-
He had it coming for wasting our time by not just going all-in. It always irritates me when I'm multi-tabling and a table pops up for more action because some dude is making me go through the motions again when it's obvious he is all-in. I decided to see how he liked it! And he did, he got a chip out of it.
-
A) You are a punk for saying that
B) Never leave anyone with any chips. You'll regret the one time they actually go on a miracle run and double up like 4 times in a row and back into contention. -
Classless.
-
Thats like pouring salt on the wound, like when a horse breaks his leg, better to put it out of his pain.
+ you said "GL with your chip&achair." One of these times somebody is gonna make a big comeback and take you out of the tounament. Its justifiable karma making full circle. It will happen sir. -
i dont think anyone has a prob with you leaving him with a chip. It is stupid though, the problem is that you have to run your mouth like an idiot when you just beat the guy. Hope karma kicks your ass.
-
I fear the day I leave someone with a chip and they double up 4 times to have an intimidating stack of 16 chips.
-
LOL at the fact that you found this cool/funny enough to post...
Obv self esteem issues -
Dick
-
i love it haha
-
Yeah, its classless, but it is funny. Also, is he that poor a player to call the bet and leave himself 1 chip? Ive had people try to leave me with 1 chip before in spots like this and I always raise the extra chip to not give them the satisfaction.
-
I keep the chip every time...
There is a non zero chance that I will in fact come back to win the tournaments especially if there is an ante. Strategically the 1 chip doesnt matter to my stack much so might as well keep it.
Also, it is sort of funny to do this to someone until you ruin the joke by saying something brutish like "GL WITH UR CHIP N A CHAIR" be subtle ya fuckin moron.

No offense, but the guy did call off all but one chip w/just A,7. Kinda seems like he deserved it.
-
hehe... Guess Im the poor player for not keeping the chip. I do see what you're saying, but I see the bet as very disrespectful... and have too much pride to let the dickhead have a laugh at my expense. Although coming back from 1 chip to win would be the ultimate laugh, without question.
-
the bets are fine, and funny... your comment in the chat however is something only an immature prick would say...
-
i had a similar asshole playing me yesterday in a 1 table $16 on stars, he left me with 45 and started being a real smartass in the chat, we were 6 handed when this happened and i came back and won, he was the bubble boy.
-
you cant just double up, when you have 2 chips you get 2 chips from everyone in the pot, and so on... so a person with 1 chip who doubles 4 times will have more than 16 chips... sigh
-
this simple math equation would be 1*2^4= 16
you are taking it to the next level just to make fun of this guy (which he probably deserves for being a dickhead), but his math, in theory, is absolutely correct. -
Not only are u a jerk for playing the hand like that, but your "value" bet on the river with A high may be a huge leak..
-
well this is a poker site, not a math class... therefore we use poker math, so his math is wrong... follow the logic?
-
what if it is heads up?
-
well, if it were heads up, then he would be correct... but he didn't post a hand that was HU nor ever refer to HU in this thread, so your point is moot
