  2. You played it optimally.

  6. id call and set mine your pretty deep
  7. If you're going to set mine you should be limp/calling, not bet/calling.
  8. what are your reads on the villain?
  9. yeah this, limp next time
  10. at this stage in the mtt, i am either trying to win a large pot or lose a small pot with this hand. if you limp in mid pos here you could be inviting others into a multiway pot, with the opportunity of winning a very large pot if you flop a set. If someone pops it as the villian did, calling is a good play and set mining is not a bad idea as deep stacked as you are. The play is made alot simpler by limping pre from middle pos here then raising and putting yourself in a jam for almost 10% of your stack pre. I would fold pre from utg or utg+1, raise if folded to me from late, but from mid that is the best way to play this hand imo
  11. I like how u played it and I think I play it exactly the same.

  12. what hands are in the villains range to 3bet in this spot?
  13. fold pre. if you were in position you could very easily call his raise and set mine but i dont feel like its profitable to open hands like this.

  14. When you have a small pair, always let your opponent open the pot with a bet. When you open with a small pair your very susceptible to the re-raise, especially in early position. You want to put as little money into the pot as possible, because a small pair's value will be diminished on the flop unless you hit your set.

  17. can the people saying this is played optimally explain why.

  18. BET > LIMP > FOLD

    BET/FOLD > LIMP/CALL > LIMP/FOLD > BET/CALL > OPEN FOLD
