  2. Is it that immoral because IMP was clicking the little black thing referred to as a mouse? What if Chris Vaughn continued to click and IMP just simply advised him or coached him the rest of the tournament?

I think the only people that should feel a bit cheated by this are the ones who donated to IMP, but even then you have to remember you are playing a game on the computer, yes it is for money but it's still a game on the computer.

The rest of you just like a witch hunt and to hear yourselves speak. Go stand out on the side of the road with a big sign telling people to SLOW DOWN and maybe you can catch some jaywalkers too as an added bonus.

  7. what witch hunt? imp cheats, straight up. that ain't a fucking witch hunt, and if ur stupid enough to refer to peoples job as "just a game on the computer" u my friend are an ignorant dbag. this is not just a game to many of us, imper1um included, and when imp takes unfair advantages it effects every1, not just the people who were in that tournament he cheated in, but in all the other ones he cheated or may have attempted to cheat in. anyone who's ever been 4 bet by some random name on fulltilt whether its jj 6 account prodigy or imp or whatever stooge they are using, its not even about it being such a horrible offense, it just makes it that much harder for the honest player to get by.
  8. this whole thing makes me never want to play a tournament ever again....too much sketchyness
  9. calling out andy like that and revealing his age, and you say he's immature? lol?
  10. Raspberry if you're going to call me a dbag at least read/answer the question in my post...

"Is it that immoral because IMP was clicking the little black thing referred to as a mouse? What if Chris Vaughn continued to click and IMP just simply advised him or coached him the rest of the tournament?"

Yes it is an ONLINE COMPUTER GAME regardless if you make a living off of it or not.
  11. This just keeps going on and on. Every month or so it seems someone is on here trying to justify CHEATING.. Scandal after Scandal Lie after Lie.

I dont know who to blame if online poker fails our govt. or the cheats that have corrupted our great game.

I know Money is the root of all evil but damn doesnt any get high off of winning a tourney by YOURSELF? Right now the only way to police these sites/people who are abusing them is in the court of public opinion. So save your apologies and your explainations (i mean lies) as far as Im concerned.

We all know if anything these sites lets these scum get away with too much before they do get caught. How many posts do avg. joe cheats make about some site treating them unfairly? They are always greated with stop cheating ect.. But when a big name player cheats its a huge debate about if he/she did? Fuck it you did wrong got caught admit it move on!!!!

Good people do bad things everyday so I dont put much credit in in when people say "hes a good guy" so what? some people believe george bush is a good guy some think hes the devil. So that arguement holds no weight..

Also shame on all of us what did we expect? Sites cant even verify how old a top player is? How are they gonna catch good smart cheaters?

I have no problems with 16 year olds playin poker hell i wish it was around when I was 16 I prolly woulda stayed outta unecessary trouble i got in..THAT BEING SAID RULES ARE RULES IF YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BREAK ONE WHOS TO SAY THE OTHER RULES MATTER. WHAT ABOUT THE 16 YEAR OLD WHO FINDS IT REMARKABLY EASY TO GET AN ONLINE POKER ACCOUNT, IM SURE HES GONNA THINK HELL IT WAS THIS EASY TO GET AROUND THIS RULE WHY NOT TRY TO GET AROUND SOME OTHERS AND COLLUDE, MULTIACTT, ECT...

This has to change or our game has no chance of surviving in the online world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. after he got ko'd yes it is cheating. if he wasn't in the mtt still cheating by playing with an alias.
  13. This is not true. As I posted in my past couple of posts in the BRSavage thread, if one were so inclined, a phone call to the right people with the correctly worded complaint would definately get a response. "Lack of regulation" (whatever that means) does not equal exemption from criminal law.
  14. Randers,

Comparing business and the present situation is not completely wrong, so when you say :

    <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>In the business world.....

People sell out their positions to others on a daily basis for their perceived value."

    You are right,

    BUT

in the business world there are also merger and acquisition, meaning that here, if we apply the business model, it would probably be correct to "merge your tournament with a friend at your table" (in poker terms its call chip dumping).

Also in the business world (at least public company), you state clearly and for the whole world to know that you did acquire the asset, I dont think imper1um has been "that" open here in his statements.

More on the general business analogy, if you consider that buying someone else stack is ok and a good business decision (and notwithstanding legality or morality I would concur with you that it probably was a good "business" decision), then the next good business decision, would be to have a friend of yours (who also has a edge over random players, let's call him JJ) also buy someone stack in that touney so you could "trade" a percentage and reduce volatility. When you reach that part the next good business decision would be to make sure that you dont, in any way, hurt that friends' stack cause you have a legitimate business interest in his high finish. Now good business would want you to work real hard (read phone or AIM or whatever) to make sure that you have the necessary information to make sure you dont hurt him (you). Finally you would launch a great publicity campaign and start selling your services to the best "clients", not keep such a great business just for your friends to profit.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
