I've been ghosting some players lately to try and learn from them and see how they play tournaments themselves to improve my game a little bit. And tonight, I've been tailing Ari a lil. I've heard numerous praises and seen him play quite well myself. Tonight in the wcoop he made a nasty call....must have had a nice read on the guy, bc im not sure if I could have made the move.

Sometimes big name players cant lay off a pair with a Jack kicker.
-
Do not f@ck with the Jesus, aka mr. Engel
-
made a move and felt pot committed was my interpretation: the call he makes he was getting proper odds for the guy having ak or aq. if the guy had a set, O WELL. and maybe the guy was totally bluffing.
that was my interpretation, anyway.
--tc -
na its more like this.
ari is aggressive, ari would bet an ace in bb if he had a good kicker.
Button player bets out, now when ari sees this he re raises easily because 9/10 times people raise an ace on button instead of limp.
now the button goes, well he cant have an ace or he woulda re raised preflop! iam gonna pop him back once more.
he gets re pop'd okay now maybe are has 45 but why didnt he go all in? Okay if i re raise one more time he has to fold a8,9,t,j. and prolly 45 because iam illusioning a set.
however.. the set would flat call and let ari bet again. this is how i think ari was able to call this off. if he has a4 a5 so be it, iam commited -
isnt Ari jewish? i dont think Jesus is the most appropriate term if thats the case lol. Either way good luck man, take down a bracelet!
-
yeah im not trying to put him down at all, im sure he knew he was full of it, it was a great call. by the by Ari if you read this for some reason check out keller williams, pretty good jam guy youll enjoy. later people.
-
"the set would flat call and let ari bet again." I think that was the key read, hope Ari drops by to confirm.
-
hes out, iam sure he will stop by soon to confirm
-
he could have ak or aq, that's what reads are for, didn't think he'd limp in w/ a better ace preflop. I make many crackheads plays, this isn't one of them.
