I have to question Party Poker...

    Not getting into the JJ right or wrong thing, but in their letter they said:

    "The partypoker.com investigations team opened an investigation on accounts JJProdigy and ABlackCar relating to suspicious activities during the February 12th $500K Guaranteed Tournament. The investigation was initially triggered by the investigations team as a result of a ýcommon informationý alert, IP and computer. Although the investigation was initiated internally, customer service began receiving complaints/concerns regarding this situation starting on February 13th.
    With this investigation, the complaints and alerts pointed to multiple accounts being played from the same location in the same tournament."

    Why was it only caught now when it had happened no fewer than 8 times before this? If their "common information" alert went off on Feb 12th why not the 8 MTT's before that?

    Is PP's position we won't go after you until you win a lot of money so we can still get the MTT fees and take all the other money in your accout for ourselves?

    JJ has admitted he was wrong and is being punished. My question now turns to PP and "what did they know and when did they know it?" If they knew and allowed that's really f'd up.

    The investigation would have begun when the site started recieving complaints.

    These sites are pretty much powerless to stop people playing multiple accounts and can only really act when it is drawn to their attention.

    Basically, JJ made the mistake of letting word that he was cheating get out. If he had kept his mouth shut he would have got away scot-free.

    He and the many other players who cheat in this manner are well aware of how powerless the sites are to catch them. They only get caught if they do something dumb like telling people that they did it.

    I agree with you that the sites need to do something about this form of cheating.

    no chit Grind, but since u know it all what they do w/ the 40K, uhh a raise for PP adm.
