My thoughts on the hand in particular are no doubt biased because at the higher limits everyone is hyper aggresive and folding post flop with a reasonable hand just does not happen. I think bet/folding this turn in any situation would always be wrong. Limit hold'em is more about the math than the player reads. In this situation, if that guy will three bet 88 preflop, I will cap him every single time, and three bet if he raises the flop once I lead out. If he caps me then I might slow down. On the turn I am leading most of the time unless we jammed the flop, and probably calling a raise and c/c river. I think other then in rare situations, the "reads" simply are not enough to justify a big fold facing substantial odds, rather they help you determine the best way to play your hand to maximize EV vs their probable range while getting information for later streets (which will be used for the same purpose). Plus there is always the chance they are mixing it up, which is quite high at the limits I play, where players are always looking to maximize value, get free showdowns and free cards, etc, so there is a lot of three betting and capping with very marginal hands.
Just my thoughts,
-Jeff
