I love poker for so many different reasons, I love it because it makes me think of so many different things, it makes learn to cope with things. It helps me with so many traits, like patience, well, I just love the game, Ive learned so much about myself , about people, met so many people, its just awesome!
Im writing this right now after I just made a bad read and play in the 30k on Bodog, deep, I had a nice stack and really wanted it, bad. Sometimes when I go deep and then take a beat or make a horendous read or Play , I freak out, lol. Ususally I lay on my bed and yell into my pillow.
Well, tonight after I blew a very nice stack, instead of freaking out and gettting all pissed, I mean I was, but, not as pissed, lol, I just kinda of took it in stride, and said to myself, well, thats poker. Instaed of tilting all my other tournies away, I took a walk and decided that theres always more and its just a game. A very fun game which can be very profitable. Theres always tomorrow and never let anything get to you when your playing this game, because games are fun.
I just felt like saying some stuff, haven't posted in awhile.
PLease if you feel like it, post what you have learned from this game, not just on the felt but in life.

Loving this game is everything. The amount of work it takes to make good money in poker could earn you a much higher salary when applied to another field. If you don't love this game you will never get through the long weeks of cold decks that any serious player is sure to encounter.
That being said, I have a hard time giving you props for the post when you admit you scream into a pillow after a bust out.

Ass, Im saying I don't anymore, thats one of the things that this great game has taught me, that things arn't always going to go your way, but you can't get frusterated and scream into a pillow but, take it in stride. Thats the whole point of this post, is that I have learned things from poker, just like this and no need for props, just saying what I feel, gl at the tables.

Great post!
My #1 lesson: In the long run, anything can happen; but, right now, what has already happened doesn't matter.
Peace out,
