  1. so yeah, played a few tourneys over the weekend on PP, nothing big, a few $5 R/A and on both tourneys i got slapped straight up. Both tourneys, am in average stack of about 7k, after like 3 hours of play, get pocket K's, flop brings Q rag and 3rd K, i bet, get called, K on the 4th, i am all in, get called, 5th is a J. And what the fuc does he catch on the 5th, yeah a straight flush (he had the 9 10). how the f is that possible, two different tourneys, about the same stage of the game, and of course i am out. lucky for me, my wife stopped me from smashing my flat screen with my fist. i am still on tilt and am not touching poker for at least 2 weeks. this was just brutal.

PS not to mention that when the servers went down while i was doing really good for the 500K qualifiers for sunday. played MTT and a few SnG's and yeah i got fucd as well on those. wasn't my weekend that's for sure.
  2. that would be a hand worth big bucks on the bad beat jackpot in one of our local casinos
  3. yeah. i mean i totally understand the fact that bad beats happen just about to anyone who plays, but two tourneys in the same day, i just can't grasp that. i don't even care about the odds of this happening if anyone would even know how to calculate that, but damn quad K to a straigh flush (king high) is amazing. funny thing is that someone at the same table also had the Royal flush (clubs) and the other person had the lower straight flush. I wish i was playing the jackpot tables lol. anyway, i just need some time off to clear my mind off of that bad beat and come back at it stronger. Confidence is definitely there, i just don't wanna play with that on my mind, cause im bound to make some stupid plays.

  4. i feel ok when i'm busted out of a tourney on a bad beat. there is SIMPLY nothing you can do about this... it's poker. you CAN'T let yourself get REAL worked up over these busts or your poker career will be short.

Of course, you have every right to get pissed at yourself when you legitamately screw up... like the other night when I attempted to bluff someone on the flop, turn, and river and the MOTHER $%%&#$ called me ALL the WAY DOWN with JUST AN OVERPAIR... I'M SUCH AN ASS FOR BLOWING 3/4 OF MY STACK ON THAT PLAY....... sorry, got carried away!
  5. thats cool, i am definitely not taking that bad beat so seriously, i understand its part of poker, so i'll leave it at that. like i said i am glad my wife stopped me from smashing my monitor and my mouse (then i wouldn't play poker for a while). i am sure its a hand to remember for a while but nothing to get my game down.

shall i say fu.. KK (j/k)

    peace
