    Although I have never posted on P5 before, I have been a regular lurker and credit this community for all that I have learnt about tournament poker. This week I finally felt I could take a shot at the big buy in tournamnets on stars. Beginners luck maybe but I took 6th in the Sunday 2nd chance and chopped the 50 rebuy yesterday. In particular I would like to thank rizen, thayer, sheets and franktank as their contributions have been extremely helpful. It was an undoubted honour to be at the final table with franktank at the 50 rebuy. I now fully intend to be a participating member here in the belief that it well help my game further and in the hope that if I develop as a player I might be of some benefit to others.

    what did yo play before being a badass in the 2nd chance? How big of tournies?

    I played 20-50 dollar MTTS for about 8 months and until the last couple of months was a losing player. But I could see I was improving a lot and after a good run in the cash games decided to take a shot at the bigger tournies.
