  1. I was just wondering what you would do in this situation I dont think i should have gotten stacked here I am really sick about. I probably should have checked behind on the turn, and let him value on the river so i wouldnt lose it all. I knew he had a set i just dont listen to myself. How do u suggest a hand like this to be played?

    *** SUMMARY ***
  2. reraise more pre, bet more on flop
  3. for the odd chances that he doesnt have a set (and has like AK), it is a fine push. even if he has a set, u have the Ac for a str8 draw and flush draw, plus the 2 aces. so that is 2+4+8 outs, or 14 for u to win.

dont see anything wrong with how u played it.
  4. If he put you on a higher pair, he had only 4000 to call with a 1:8 chance to crush you, so preflop reraise was too cheap, 11 or 12k should be right here, thats close to the odds for a call, after Flop (in case you got called then) you might be careful here and check raise him, when he got you you will know it. given the real play you should have overbet clearly the pot, if he comes back on you, you can review your hand and lay it down (whatever your guts say in this moment) or push.IMHO.
  5. reraise more pre, check turn
