What would happen if you said you lost the money you made online in live poker but you really spent it on tuition? Do these offshore companies report a 1099 and if not how would the IRS know if you dont report the income?
-
PM BRSavage.
Cliff notes: don't fuck with the IRS. -
Report it, get legitimate - you can then deduct expenses (monitors, software, vegas trip expenses, etc.), plus when it comes time for a loan or something you have an income history. Like other replies - don't mess with the IRS. Or as a student, study in England, no tax on poker.
-
Yes well it may be a bad idea... so IRS agents if you are reading this watch out for the tax evader from the Chi who goes by the name of turd ferguson.

800 pound gorillas that want to leave their footmarks all over the place -
Whats the BR Savage IRS Story?
-
Saying your going to use it on tuition is no different then if u were to use the money on hookers and coke.
PS Out of curiosity what's your social security number??? -
Or if you're American and want to be a little closer to home, come to Canada to study: we have no tax on poker, have a drinking age of 18 or 19 depending on where you are, and we all live in igloos, which anyone will tell is the stone cold nuts (no pun intended).
-
if you were going to do something like this, why would you post it in public?
-
^^^^^^ lol
