  1. Note: I'm dumb and can't seem to get images to work, so copy and paste if you want to look at that stuff.

To start, please don't come into this thread saying OH YEAH IN THE MONEY NOW YOU SHOULD MOVE UP IN LIMITS. I see that too much on other poker forums, the reason I'm posting this thread is not to brag and say I should be ranked (because I'll be the first person to tell you I shouldn't).. this thread for me is the culmination of about 2 years of online poker and 5 years of live poker. I'm not a bad player (I paid for the computer and monitor that I'm using with profit from playing pot limit omaha hi/lo at full tilt over the span of a few months.. btw thanks full tilt for that).. the main reason I wanted to post this here is that this is the only poker forum (besides something awful's poker in the rear, which is great but it moves way slower than here) that I like, where everyone isn't hateful and mean all the time, and people help each other out. Whether you realize it or not, a lot of threads here have helped my play, and a lot of others I imagine become better card players, and nicer cardplayers (when I started, I was mean to people who played "bad" or what I thought was bad, after coming here, I realized that the people calling all in with bottom pair weren't people to yell at, you should just shut up and just thank them for the free money they try to give you.

So anyway, I like watching online poker players. When I say watch, I mean I railtard people like brsavage and sheets and bax and Ozzy/Green Plastic in $ games because in online poker, people call way too much with bad hands, so I sort of get insight into how top players play, and it's better than watching the newest dumb reality show.

I don't play for big limits online, not because I'm all tinfoil hat about poker, but because for some reason, I have a mental block about playing poker online for money that I "care" about. If it's a $1-2 buyin, that's money that I loan to a friend and never expect back. I get maybe an hour of entertainment out of the tournament I play in, have fun, try avoiding getting in with the worst of it, and enjoy myself playing all the games. Away from online, I do ok live, I go out to the boats and play $2/$4 limit with $150 or so, and haven't had a losing session in a few months. P5's also helped me lots with my live hold 'em game (also harrington on hold 'em did as well, but mostly for tournaments).

So with that in mind, I was playing the .10 turbo tourney on stars tonight (2323 entrants). I like making poker a family thing, so I tossed .10 at my little bro (who doesn't believe in playing online poker for money, but .10 isn't money...), and .10 at another friend of mine.

They both busted out (my bro in like 20 minutes, my friend cashed for .16.. lol), but I had a very long and strange journey ahead of me in this one. I do have a competitive nature, which lends myself to playing cards.. I like to outplay people, out think them, and basically beat them in anything I do (not like mean haha you got stacked or whatever, just friendly competition), but anyways.. I don't feel that I really can do my win justice with words, so here's pictures.

This is with roughly 50 people or so left, I was chip leader.. I hadn't been chip leader in about 4 months in a mtt, so I had my bro take screen shots. Props to him, I think he did a nice job of it.

This is after I won an obscenely large pot with J/J. I think I stacked A/10 and got most of a guy who way overplayed K/9. Was kind of surprised to see it hold, but I was running really good tonight.

Here's a shot of me heads up. I'm excited in the chat, obv because I'm not there much :)

The heads up match was kind of short, I open raised all in with a/7 off suit, he called with 10/6 clubs, I yelled WTF NO LIVE CARDS HOLD PLEASE TY at the screen.. and the board came out king high, no help to his hand, and I took a 4-1 chip lead with my ace high.

Granted, I did suck out the last hand, I remember it being q/10/8 flop, I had 10/9, went all in after unraised pot preflop for 400k of his chips, he called with q/6.. and I hit a jack on the turn to hit the winning straight.

I think I yelled JACK at the screen so loud Lee put it out there for me :)

    Anyway,
