I was just flicking thru the tourneys on stars and see a site running a private 10$ rebuy with the first places paying an entry to the 600$ WSOP event. There been lots of posts about backing and what not so heres the idea, p5's sets up one of these private tourneys and if the winner should go on to win a seat and then to cash in at the WSOP then the prize is split between all the players who played in the original 10$ rebuy.
Any thoughts, ideas? post if you'd be interested. -
The last P5's tourney had over 200 entrants if I remember correctly. If people are willing to spring for the cash, we could just have a $50+5 buy-in satellite that sent the winner to the WSOP.

I am sure there won't be any issues dividing up the the winnings if someone actually won millions of dollars. Let's just send No-Limit-Pro and call it a day.

The problem with that is that many players (I think) dont feel they have a shot to flat out win a tourney with 100+ entrants...I would rather play the $50 tourney if top 6 got entired into the $1500 event and 7th got some cash....just my opinion.

I'm not opposed to any ideas. It would be nice to find a way to guarantee a P5er a trip to the WS -- the $1500 event wouldn't necessarily guarantee that. I don't have any illusions of granduer about winning whatever tournament would hypothetically be created. But it would be nice to see someone in a "F Beanie" shirt on ESPN.
