  1. Joined about three weeks ago, haven't really been playing much, mostly watching the videos. I did do pretty well in the PXF monthly tourney. I started playing a little more this weekend, mainly $4 +.40 180 man sit n' gos, to try to apply what I've been learning on the cheap. My last four:

12th place- Lost 1/3 of my big stack with 77 vs. a button K9 push, then lost with AK vs. AQ

13th place- Lost with AQ vs. 10-10 for the 2nd biggest stack.

Out of money- AJ no good vs KQ

1st place- Had 4x the next biggest stack for the entire final table.

If you can believe it, I'm not even running good, yet I've had chips in all four right from the get go.

Never again will I be the tight aggressive guy trying to win a few races to catch up to the big stacks. It's all about being the big stack. I'm dragging pots without ever putting my stack at risk, and taking so much luck out of the game.

    GREAT, GREAT job pokerxfactor.
  2. Just to clarify, I don't think PXF is against someone playing tight aggressive...lol. Switching gears, yes. Playing only LAG all the time, no.
  3. how much does it cost to join and what do you get
  4. $5000 and you get a bax/sheets commemorative coin + free balloons.
  5. You get the to be a much better player and some free ballons from some defunct site.
  6. I wish I could join incredibly bad but there's just no way I have that kind of money right now. It sucks thats its expensive but I understand why. Ahh I wish I could join.
  7. Well, just to be clear, it is NOT $5000 (hmmm ... maybe it should be). First month is $149.95 then $24.95 a month.

We have a free Rizen available this weekend only in honor of his big WSOP run. Just register for free to see it.

  8. can't i just play sheets or bax heads up in a 5.50... their game of choice... if i win i get free membership... if i lose i get free membership?
  9. Went out to dinner, drank a pitcher of margarita, came home and decided to play one more, this time a 27 man $10 +1.

Had the chip lead for almost the entire tourney, took 1st for another hot $100, just because.

  10. Lol i knew it wasnt 5000 but thanks, anyways I know the advice is so valuable but its just impossible to pay 25 a month plus a 150 start up for me right now... i could do like 10 a month or something but i understand why its more.
  11. Free Rizens? Do I have to pay for shipping?
  12. man, pokerxfactor is only going to get you so far, which isn't very far at all..Shit like that will help your game when it comes to really small buy-in tourneys, but when you start making some doh and move up a couple levels, you're going to be lost. The pros on that site aren't giving away any of their secrets, man, and they all play differently..If you already know the basics just work on creating your own strategy and style, because eventually you'll enter a game that barely has anything to do with the cards your holding..xfactor, cardrunners etc are all pretty basic and I think you'd be just as good by reading forums like these..Id skip that process altogether its a scam and rip off
  13. ^^^ umm STFU and GTFO?

  15. how do they only help w/ small buyin tourneys, when PXF has videos of brsavage in a 500$ buyin tourney, Rizen in the Million Guaranteed, etc, etc.? boo this man, booooooooooooooooo.
  16. So what are you going to do when everyone plays like Bax, everyone signs up for PokerX, you'll hvae lost your advantage.

What a moronic post.. you need a class on how to think for yourself.. but I guess that never occurred to you.
  17. PokerXfactor was the single greatest move I made since playing poker.

In case you are wondering, in order they are

    1. PXF
    2. HOH (1 and 2)
    3. RPT (which was the first real poker training I ever got, Todd is awesome)

Am also trying to join Cardrunners via paypal but no one there will answer my emails. I have emailed admin@cardrunners.com 3 times with my name etc to pay via paypal but still no replies, so any cardrunners people reading...I want to give you money, but you need to answer my emails. It's been over 1 week since my first attempt at contact.
  18. One of the great things about PXF besides the training is the ability to upload hand histories and look at other members' hand histories. I can tell you that no one plays like Bax. Everyone uses what they have learned to make themselves better, but not everyone is going to be comfortable playing that way. Heck, Sheets and Bax don't even play the same -- they have arguments on the videos about how hands should be played, which hands are playable, and overall strategy (good hearted arguments where you can see the merits of both views).

I can't claim to be a person who has won big since joining. I've honestly played about 10 MTTs since joining back in March (I wish I could play more but I have other responsibilities). However, when I do play I play with confidence. I know that I need to a) know what the right play is, b) be disciplined to make the right play, and c) realize that the result does not change a or b.

PXF is awesome in many ways. It is, first of all, instructional. Secondly, it gives you a great look at your own play with the tools offered. Third, it is a nice community of players who have regular discussions at the forums and root each other on at the tables. Fourth, it offers great value in member tournaments (this month a $5 tournament where you can win, literally, thousands of dollars worth of prizes including a seat in a WSOP event and travel expenses). Fifth, it is highly entertaining.

All of that for a very reasonable amount of money. I'm a micro player and have found it very rewarding even though I haven't "scored" enough for it to pay for itself. I hope, soon, to have a little more time for MTTs so that I can practice more and see the rewards of the training. Other things take priority in my life, though, so right now I look at it as valuable knowledge that no one can take away from me.
  19. I have only had PXF for a little over a week and already notice a significant improvement in my game. The last 5 $4.40 180 SNG's I have played have yielded 5 ITM's and 1 FT. I played a stars 10+1 MTT last night with 1059 entrants and placed 29th. Not great by any stretch of the imagination but suffice it to say my AA<KQ :) which crippled me, other wise its very possible it was going to be the FT of that one too. No huge scores yet but I can feel it coming. The biggest thing PXF has provided me is confidence. Before, I hated playing MTT because I could only get about less than 10% ITM. I stuck to my guns and played just SNG's and Cash but always wanted to play MTT because they are the most fun. I was leery at first about shelling out $150 too but in the end im going to make that back at the tables (and more) before my next monthly payment.
  20. You couldn't be more misguided my friend, but then again people will rationalize any and everything in order to justify not doing something.

You couldn't be more wrong about low buy-in events and PXF being of no use. I increased my ROI %30 in the first 2 months after joining PXF and I play mostly 20 events. Although I have played 4 100$ plus events, final tabling my first 109$ event, and no, I was not lost when it came to playing the "pros" or the "advanced High buy-in" players.

PXF will increase anyone's game, from pro to novice.
  21. lol @ UselessGit

I don't know what a mornic post is, but your post might be close to it. PXF is like a weapon in your poker arsenal, just like every great poker book is, but I suppose you put down reading an instructional manual as not thinking for yourself. lol

You can only have an advantage from being a member of PXF.
  22. WTF?! I didn't get a balloon

  24. When is this doosh apestyles going to have some success in big weekend tournaments?

Sick of his small timing ass... P.S. italics = ghey.

OMFG that's the funniest thing I've read in a lonnnnnnnnng time.
  26. I have not joined pokerxfactor and I don't despise money. You are a liar.
  27. Are all you guys on the pokerxfactor marketing team. This forum seemsto be turning more and more into a poker classified section than apoker discussion forum.

You run hot for a couple of tournies after joining up, maybe itsvariance, maybe u actually improved a bit, but who really cares. Maybecome back after a bigger sample and say how you've gone, but then maybethe increase in your earnings may just be due to the fact that you havemore experience at the tables. The daily "i'm in love with xxxxtraining site" posts are boring and are pretty much provide no usefulinformation.
  28. And maybe, yes maybe, you actually learn poker strategy when you watch these videos.
  29. just so you know - you are running good. When you win 1/4 mtts and cash in 2 of the other 3. yeah you're running good, regardless of what you think.

  30. You post five times, and that is one of your posts? Dude plz....
