if you're running bad on one site and not another....

    so, i've pretty much been getting raped on stars for the past few months and doing well on full tilt. i read a post on here a few days ago (forget who posted) regarding changing backgrounds/avatars/sounds, etc on a particular site to change your mentality about running good. needless to say, i changed my background/theme and color of cards on stars and my mindset completely changed from a negative one to a positive one.

    you obviously won't run better just by changing your configurations, but there's been a lot of posts on p5's lately about positive thinking and the mental aspects of poker, and this was definitely true for me. i went into today with a positive mindset and ended up making a few deep runs and finishing 2nd in an mtt on stars (yeah, sick brag).

    cliff notes: if you have a negative mindset or feel like you're running bad, change your background/avatar/sounds/anything that you associate in a negative light with that particular poker site and you would be surprised at the difference it makes in your mentality.... at least it worked for me. good luck.

    i like my backgrounds on all my sites the same to try to get them as similiar as posible. judging from your pic looks like you got some extra brain power to work with so you should figure this out noproblemo

    Fulltilt is rigged, just find the background u are winning at, Lederer is gonna get buttfucked soon enough, hope it was worth the $ to spend the rest of his life in prison

    Ive been running like god on FTP for the past week. Please dont change anything. Ive 5X my starting money.. Dont do anything. 12 straight plus cash sessions according to PTR I think. One 2nd place in a tourney. Leave it alone.

    getting raped on stars and doing pretty well on ftp is the story of my life. Also when i start to do decent on stars...make a few FTs or whatever i almost always start to do poorly on ftp, i dont think i can remember a time when i was doing well on both sites.
