By going into the public eye.
I have $220 in my Fulltilt account, and i want to build it up to 5k. I won't follow any kind of bankroll management, i will play wathever i feel like, from 9 to 180 man sng's to freezouts or rebuy MTT's. Reason i don't follow BR management rules is simple: I suck at that, and when i tried i got bored. I follow my feelings, and if i join let's say a 5$ 9 man sng instead the 3$ rebuy i wanted to play, i will play crappy thinking that i'm not doing what i wanted to.
I will post my busto hands, along with some key hands; and at the end of the day i'll attach my tournament history and how much money i have.
The reason i'm doing this is cause i need motivation, and i think it was Jennifear ( but i can be wrong ), and i totally agree, that going into the public eye it's a nice way to get motivated and develop you A game.
I built a big br not long ago, 7k starting out with a 24$ token earned playing my FTP, but for personal circumstances i had to cashout. I made a 100$ deposit a week ago, and even if i more than double the ammount, i feel myself with a lack of motivation. In some tourneys where i had good chances of making a good score, like a few 2 or 3$ rebuys, i just busted by not playing properly.
Whoever feels like comment hands, give advice or wathever, just go ahead and do it, i'll appreciate that.
I'm a PXF subscriber too, so if some1 wants to take a closer look to some specific tourney, just let me know and i'll hang the HH's there.
GL to me
EDIT:I took an overall look at this, and it seems pretty boring. From now on, i'll post tourneys joined, results, and hands i'd love advice on. After 24h i'd like to remove all the HH's except those that created any kind of discussion, otherwise this thread is gonna be a neverending one.
Edit 2: Al HH's deleted, or this would turn into the most boring thread ever. Day results and br evolution, thats what i think. If any1 shows up with ideas to make of this a more enjoyable thread, please don't hesitate, either post here or PM me. Thanks. -
GL to you sir!

TYVM Johnny.
Actually my BR was 212 instead 220. When i finished playing yesterday i was sure i had 220. No biggie anyways.
First round of tourneys goes as follows:
5.50$ 9 man sng
11 $ 9 man sng
5.50 $ 90 man sng
8.70 $ 18 man tier 1
3.30 KO MTT, 916 entries
Just started 4 of them, waiting for the 90 man to fill up
Edit:
5.50$ 9 man: 1st. place = 22$
Tier1 8.70 : Tied 1st place = 24+2 Token. Going to play a 9 man sng trying to get 3rd place for 66$
11$ 9 man : 6th place. This is the hand that costed me the tournament. The guy shoving is a super donk, not only cause his play in this particular hand, but b/c he plays really bad. -
Joined another 5.50$ 9 man sng.
Donked off my token. Lost AT vs 22 on a 2-6-6- 10 board. 9th place -
Results on my 9 man 5.50$ sng
2nd = 13.50$
Busto hand, after a pretty crazy heads up, where he made a big come back after winning a flip with K-10 o's vs my A-J sooted allin pre. -
So here's the day resume.

How you like-dislike this?
I'm like 5th in chips at this 2r i'm in, and decided to open with my suited connectors. Get two flat callers, then the BB moves in. Of course i'm not gonna fold giving the huge odd's i get, but i decide to insolate. At the moment i didn't care if any of the flatters decides to call, since they can't really harm me. It's that good, bad, really bad, horrible, brilliant?

Also played 2 more 10+1 - 9 man Sng. Bubbled one, got 3rd in the another. Don't have busto hands, i got pissed in both and closed the table before the hand was 100% over. Sry, i'll try to avoid that.
Btw, i joined another 5+0.50- 90 man Sng, and right now i'm 6th in chips in the 2r, 45 left, 18 paid. -
I really dislike limping in pre here. A10 isn't an easy hand to play postflop in a multiway pot. Either raise or fold. Maybe if you were deeper stacked and it was suited I limp behind here.
Once Mike the kid limp/calls your raise I'd really slow down on the turn, unless I have a read that he's a big donk or something. -
First hand I shove there almost everytime.
Second hand unless I feel like gambling then I may fold. I'd rather wait for a hand that has some showdown value. Atleast a highcard, You're getting called regardless so you might as well give yourself the best shot to win. That said if I feel like gambling then I call. -
First hand, I think A10s is strong enough to raise and try to isolate the limper. A10 is probably best at this point. It turned out it was and you probably would've taken it down pre. As played I bet like 280 on flop (480 is too much). Check behind on turn and fold the river. All you beat is a bluff and theres so many hands he limps that have you beat.
Second hand with K9s OOP, fold or shove pre, depending on table dynamics and player reads.
Third hand I think is standard. -
Problem with hand A was that the guy was a calling station, so i tought i had to either shove or limp. I have that big leak tho, i limp behind a lot with hands that like you said, are better than what the original limper holds. Guess i have to work on my aggression level. I'm cocky when it comesto open -raise, but not when there's a limper behind. Always think: he's slow playing a monsta lol.
Hand 2, you right, it's a pretty standard fold to me, but i think i tilted a lil, he was raising ATC, so i decided to give it a shot. Bad timing, or bad played. -
I'm with you, i think is a pretty standard shove, and a very bad call by him IMO.
Second hand is the result of the first one. I didn't care anymore about the tourney after losing the first one, so i was like, get chips or get out. I got out obv. LOL -
I'm pretty much against limping, but here's another leak in my game: unless i have a monster, i dont feel comfortable raising 2 hands in a roll, specially if i was forced to fold the first one. I like to keep a tight table image, wich allows me to bluff here and there. After you start a hand the wrong way, guess the only thing that can happen is a wrong end
-
Pot is 4990 and it's 1805 more to call. Assuming you know everyone will fold to a shove, your equity to call is 36%. Giving him a range of (66+,ATs+,KQs,AJo+,KQo) to shove there with no fold equity (assuming he knows what that is) you have 34% equity. I probably fold here as in a $2 tourney you never really know when one of the intial callers is gonna decide to make a stand here with QJs or something fucked up like that.
(by the way that's my first time using poker stove, I hope it's right) -

GN everybody, i'll see you all on sunday, the best day to get a big pile of sick bad beats. -
GM everybody. It's sunday, Feb. 24, a perfect day to smash your computer after bad beat #268 ( not before tho, gotta have some patience). Already had my 1st one, busting a 5+0.50 second hand.
Today we're gonna play bunch of 5$, nothing expensive, cause downswings can be scary on sunday.
Also a good day to start taking beats like a mature person and not like a whinner.
GL at the tables, let the battle begin.
