So any micro limit player please respond. Can someone please explain to me or give a perspective on raise in the bb with four or more limpers, what can this possibly accomplish, the only thing i see is building the pot, but really no advantage in doing that cause u only give drawers the right price to call on the betting round after. Very very rarely does someone fold for another bet, unless it is the sb then maybe he only fold 40% of the time anyway and he the only player you had position on! I ask this cause i find it very commonplace that persons are doing this and I might be missing something big.

I don t play limit but in NL I will raise in the BB w/ decent holdings, those limpers will pay you off for continuing when they shouldnt have been limping in the first place.

Maybe the bb has pocket aces.

I don't see any point other than to build the pot, I have never seen a limper in .25/.50 fold to a raise. After the flop, someone with an open-ended straight draw is still getting good odds to call, even when the pot isn't raised. But if your getting your money in with the best hand, you will be more profitable in the long run.
