  1. This is definitely a major issue in the online community and I think a proposal outlined in Lee Jones's article (link below) hits spot on with a viable solution. I will openly admit to having played on a friends account once or twice in the past (NEVER USING hoodini10 in the same tourney obv) -- but it is for the sole reasons chris points out above & it being completely unethical that I have chosen to not personally go this route. In any event, this issue needs to be resolved. Any online professional should be smart enough to understand the awful image you are giving to the community and how all the people who currently keep our online games thriving may think twice next time they go to load their money online. The solution is somewhat addressed in the article below and I challenge anyone currently reading this post that works for an online site to immediately act on it. 2. While I agree with the sentiment, advanced poker does not exist without known history between players. And poker that's not advanced poker is just not as much fun.

P.S. Don't they do something like this on the Cake network? You can change your User ID there every week I think.
  3. i don't mind this at all but i don't think it still doesn't stop player x from playing mutli-accounts in the same tourney

  4. Lee's proposal would make sites like pokerdb, opr, and p5's rankings non existant. It's my personal belief that these sites are what helps online poker thrive because people can see the possible profits to be made if you reach the highest level. Yes, there are people who will throw money online and never know who johnnybax is...but there are a lot of people that do know who he is and they need these famous people so that there is living proof of what's possible.....making everything totally anonymous just doenst cut it imo. (I also may have misinterpreted what lee was saying, but i think I got it right.)
  5. Lol, why don't you guys just out the people that are doing it.

You all pussyfoot around and make "threats" and "semi-solutions" becuase apparently some top pros are doing it. Some of you know who they are, however, you will not narc on them. I don't play that high so I don't care.

But some of you guys don't have balls. Not U2. But if AJ knows who they are, then he should say or shutup.

This is getting rediculous. If you know who it is then either:

    1. Go to their house and beat them.
    2. Report them to the sites.
    3. Post their accounts, alter-accounts, stats, and proof.
    4. Shut up.

Seriously, 8 guys sitting in the Saturday 300 with only 500 entrants. No doubt, collusion. Wake up.

    One word.

    GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED.
  6. cosign on phish To say someone might not put their money on a site might be true for a few people but have the numbers of players on any given site at any given time gone down drastically because of this concern? imo no also imo i think more people are likely not to put their money on a site because it crashes every day or has terrible support as opposed to the outside chance they are in a tourney with a cheater.

Ok so people are cheating and its not right but seriously no matter what these sites do there will always be a way around it just like anything else. what if the sites one day were able to stop multi accounting from the same source (ie house, apartment what ever) whos to say that the person ma'ing wouldnt find a way around that by setting up a more elaborate system of having computers and people running them in different locations and communicating over a phone? in essence wouldnt this be the same thing your all concerned about? please correct me if im wrong

I assume for these people to cheat its worth the time and effort or they wouldnt do it so really at the end of the day they will be able to chip dump or what ever it is people are so concerned about but they will have to be more creative in the way they do it and greed is just the motivation one needs to get the job done.

sorry for the long post but its almost over. the only way to stop some of them is to out them and if AJ or anyone else knows of people doing it he should drop dime or stfu. get YTIU on it and im sure it will greatly reduce the number of cheaters once a few of them catch a baseball bat to the head next time they are out in public and seen by the wrong p5er

  9. 1. You should be able to change your SN a certain number of times/time period. You SHOULD NOT be able to have multiple accounts on any site, for any reason. I don't give a f how big your br is.

    2. If you know that someone is multi-accounting in mtts/cash/sngs this then you have a duty to say something instead of posting how you know and might out someone if X does not happen. If you keep quiet then aren't you aiding and abbetting which makes you just about as guilty as the offenders?
