I have no clue what the right play is, probably should have
folded pre but... What would you do here?

    Thanks,

  2. Um...fold? You can't stick 1/3 your (nice sized) stack out there set mining, which has to be essentially what you're doing, regardless of the incredible implied odds, and sizable pot odds. You aren't pot committed here. I can't imagine one of the players involved in the hand doesn't have a pair.

I probably would have folded first raise.

  3. Even if you hit your set, you have to think that there are 3 other overpairs in front of you that you need to avoid them hitting their set.

  4. fold ... dont waste 600 chips on 2's at this point.

Just not worth it as you wont hit your set nearly as much to make it profitable.
  5. Well the first call is ok getting pretty good odds and better than 10:1 stack to bet ratio so you could set mine if you wish...however, once that guy raises 2400 you have to fold and set mining is a terrible idea.
  6. Why is set mining a terrible idea? He's getting 5 to 1 just to make the 2400 call and you can guess that they won't all check fold if you hit your set with this action. I call and play FTW.
  7. It's just too expensive to do it, is the problem. It's a third of your stack. Of course I fold and the flop comes A22, but I still probably fold here.

  8. 5:1 on a 7.5:1 draw....hmmm not the best idea
  9. Fold. Not enough behind.
